Dear Colleague:

For nearly four decades, the arrival of September has meant one thing to Caribbean Central American Action: the Annual Conference on the Caribbean and Central America is just around the corner. This year we are looking forward to having our signature event return to Miami and we hope that you will be with us at the JW Marriot Marquis Miami from November 19-21, 2014. The CCAA conference has always blended high-level policy discussion with expert-led business-focused roundtables, so that participants leave with a broad understanding of the issues that have shaped the economies of Central America and the Caribbean over the past year. This year is no different, with discussion topics including energy, finance, transportation, trade, security, disaster mitigation, and technology.

In addition to our co-host, Enterprise Florida, and our strategic partners at The Beacon Council, the Florida International Bankers’ Association, PortMiami, and World Trade Center Miami, the list of collaborating organizations is growing. They include the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF), the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), and the U.S. Panama Business Council (USPA). More are being added and we welcome any organizations that would like to be a part of the event. Collaborating organizations receive discounts on registration and other valuable benefits If you are interested in having your organization be a part of the conference, please contact Nathan Tuebner at ntuebner@c-caa.org for more information.

For details on our updated agenda, please see the attached program. We will continue to update the program to add the special sessions and events that will make this a must-attend Conference. NOTE: Register now to ensure that you receive the best rates! Hotel reservations can be made for our special conference rate of $219 at the JW Marriott Marquis by clicking here. Make your reservations early to guarantee your room at our host hotel. We look forward to seeing you in Miami!
