Caribbean-Central American Action (CCAA) and the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA) invite you to register today for the Workshop on Caribbean Banking and Caribbean International Financial Services Sector, taking place at the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort in Willemsted, Curaçao on September 30-October 1, 2015.

Workshop co-host, Ms. Pamela Coke-Hamilton of Caribbean Export, stated that “Caribbean financial institutions find themselves increasingly vulnerable to regulatory changes and new trends that threaten their very existence. Once seen as a growth industry for regional economies seeking to diversify from the dependency of the non-competitive agriculture base or the tourism-dependent economies; today the industry (traditional and offshore) is facing an ever increasing array of challenges in the globalized environment.”

This workshop will bring together regional and international financial institutions and experts to discuss in detail, the challenges facing the Caribbean Basin and put forth proactive solutions within the context of the international regulatory framework at the upcoming OECD Global Forum summit to be hosted in Barbados in October 2015.
