Disaster Management Workshop Series

Caribbean Central American Action (CCAA) is pleased to announce its Disaster Management Workshop Series (DMWS).

The DMWS has been a flagship program of CCAA for the past decade. It brings government and the private sector together with disaster resilience professionals to discuss the importance of partnerships in the recovery planning process and to support the incorporation of disaster planning into daily operations. The event includes the signing of an inter-organizational memorandum of understanding for ongoing collaboration and support.

2018 Scheduled Disaster Management Workshop Series Events: Under the theme of “Business and Community Resilience in the face of Natural Disasters”, the series will take place as follows:

  • April 24 – St. Vincent
  • April 25 – Grenada
  • May 17 – Montserrat

2017 Scheduled Disaster Management Workshop Series Events: Under the theme of “Building Community Resiliency through Strategic Private Public Partnerships”, the series will take place as follows:

  • March 29 – San Juan, Puerto Rico
  • April 5 – Guyana
  • April 26 – Anguilla
  • May 3 – Antigua
  • May 4 – St. Lucia
  • June 21 – Cayman Islands

2016 Scheduled Disaster Management Workshop Series Events: Under the theme of “Building Risk-Aware and Resilient Communities”, the series will take place as follows:
