The Transformational Economy: Perspectives and Opportunities for Guyana’s Private Sector
September 25 - September 26
Caribbean Central American Action (CCAA), and our collaborating partners, will host a program on “The Transformational Economy: Perspectives and Opportunities for Guyana’s Private Sector” in Georgetown, Guyana, on September 25-26, 2017.
The discovery of significant oil reserves off the coast of Guyana has the potential to radically shift the country’s economic future, and there will be important work done in Guyana to ensure that the country is ready for this transformation. The private sector has a major role to play, and as the oil economy grows, the private sector must grow with it, providing new services, new skills, and new products, to respond to the opportunities.
This two-day event will be a forum for Guyana’s public and private sectors, together with regional and international stakeholders, to examine some of the key considerations for the economy. We invite you to be a part of the discussion and join us in Georgetown this September.
Guyana participants*: US$150.00
International participants: US$500.00
